Zotac announces its GTX 295 and GTX 285 cards

Zotac GTX 285 AMP! runs at 702MHz


Zotac
is one of the first partners to announce its GTX 295 and GTX 285 cards. The company has also decided to announce the GTX 285 AMP! version that will be factory overclocked.

Zotac has announced its GTX 295 card today, and as every other partner out there, Zotac's card is also based on the reference design. It has 480 stream processors, and comes with 1,792MB of GDDR3 memory, 896MB for each GPU. The memory is clocked at 1,998MHz while the shader clock is set at 1,242MHz.

In addition to the GTX 295, Zotac has also announced two GTX 285 cards. Both cards are based on Nvidia's reference desing, but the AMP! version is factory overclocked. The first one works at 648MHz for the GPU, 2,484MHz for 1GB of GDDR3 memory and has a shader clock set at 1,476MHz. The AMP! version on the hand works at 702MHz for the core, 2,592MHz for the memory and the shader clock got boosted to 1,512MHz.

Both cards feature 240 stream processors and a 512-bit memory interface. Other features include support for DirectX 10, and Nvidia's CUDA, PhysX, SLI, Stereoscopic 3D technologies.

Zotac's GTX 295 and both of the GTX 285 cards were listed in Europe but the GTX 285 cards were unfortunately taken off. You can find the Zotac GTX 295 listed here, and the lowest price currently stands at €445,42.
