Passive is the way to go

Sapphire is apparently preparing a new card based on the HD 4670 design, the Sapphire HD 4670 Ultimate. We always looked forward to Sapphire's Ultimate series as it meant that a decent card gets a passive cooling solution, and this time Sapphire decided to go for the HD 4670.

The card uses Sapphire's recognizable blue PCB and features passive cooling solution with two heatpipes. The card design looks pretty clean, and the only different thing is the large second heatsink that sticks over the top and to the back of the card. The GPU works at reference 750MHz and it comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at reference 2,000MHz.

Other specs include support for DirectX 10.1, ATI's Unified Video Decoder 2 (UVD), and Avivo HD technology. The backplate comes with three different outputs, D-Sub, HDMI and DVI. The card is already listed in the Europe and the lowest price stands at €70,76.
