Nvidia bonds stays strong

We had a chance to talk to Cy Brown, the Vice President of Sales at XFX, and he cleared up some things, explaining why the company suddenly decided to go for ATI. We were informed that many XFX customers wanted to buy an ATI XFX branded card, and that this was one of the main factors behind XFX's rather difficult decision.

XFX believed that it can offer more to its ATI based customers, such nice packaging and five star support service including live help. To make things a bit more clear in details, we got an official statement from the companies VP, below.

Dear Fudzilla Readers,

As you will have no doubt heard XFX has announced a significant development recently with our Technology Partnership with AMD.

We have been building Graphics cards for many years now and have worked with every major graphics chip company over the years and seen and been involved in the amazing progression and rise of GPU – So we have always embraced new technology and will continue to do so.

We are all excited at XFX about this development as we can see benefits to all sides but most importantly we want to deliver this benefit to our customers by offering them a real choice whether they want to purchase an Nvidia or ATI based graphics card we want to deliver to them simply the best graphics card for their budget and for their requirement, be it raw performance or HD Video transcoding for work or for play.

Of course many of our XFX customers will not be expecting anything along the lines of ordinary or run of the mill from XFX – So as not to disappoint our fans we are committed to maintaining their high expectations and yes they can expect the full treatment from our resident XFX-perts and Graphics Masters that I am happy to confirm are right now working on our signature “XXX” branded and factory over clocked and warranted products – we aim to bring a little of our magic to the ATI proposition backed up by our 5-Star service and support.

The readers of Fudzilla can of course expect to learn first about our new line-up of our new range and how they stand up to rigorous and impartial Fudzilla testing very soon....

So going forward our partnership with nVidia will remain as strong as ever with our products continuing to reflect our commitment to meeting the needs of customers, however with more strings to our graphics bow we now have a range and choice that suits the whole market and the diversity of our customer base.

We do acknowledge that we are in troubled economic times however this is where investing in new  technology and the versatility and value a GPU offers, really comes to the fore, innovation is recession proof as is good design – We live by this ethos at XFX and will drive great graphics technology forward as we see our selves as a true manufacturer and the “Graphics Hub”

So with that note I and XFX would like to wish everyone a fantastic new year and we are looking very much forward to upgrading and improving your graphics experience throughout 2009.
