Goes Like Hell clocks

In addition to the rumored GTX 285 Cao Cao edition, Gainward has announced a Goes Like Hell version of the GTX 260 card.

The new GTX 260 GS GLH is using the same dual fan cooler previously seen on Gainward's Golden Sample GTX 260 card, but this time Gainward decided to push the clocks a bit higher due to the fact that nothing less was expected from its Goes Like Hell edition. The GTX 260 GS GLH works at 650MHz for the core, which is 75MHz higher than reference card, and comes with 896MB of 0.8ns memory clocked at an impressive 1,200MHz.

According to the info, the card should use a 4-phase PWM in order to maintain sufficient power and support such high overclock. In addition to the thermo-regulated low speed fans, the cooler will also have a copper heatpipe.

The availability date and the price are still unknown, but we are sure that Gainward will be more than willing to show this card at Cebit, so we will have more info once this show starts.
