Our friend Wizzard from techPowerUp just released a new version of the popular GPU information and monitoring tool known as GPU-Z.

For those unfamiliar with the utility, GPU-Z is pretty much CPU-Z for graphics cards. It will detect GPU name and size, the amount of memory, the card manufacturer and other bits of information like shaders and ROPs.

The latest version of the utility now includes support for AMD’s upcoming Radeon HD 4890, set to launch in two weeks, and Nvidia’s Geforce GTX 275, set to launch in the same week. It also includes support for the upcoming Radeon HD 4750 and HD 4770, both based on RV740 and should appear sometime in May.

GPU-Z 0.3.3 can be downloaded here.
