Sapphire is already shipping its first in a new line of power supplies for PC and workstation market called Sapphire FirePSU 625W.

It has enough stability to fit the needs of workstation people and of course, it's good for games as it can provide high reliability under load.

Sapphire FirePSU series support multiple graphics systems including CrossfireX and probably SLI and it comes with four PCIe 6/8 pin power connectors. It also features 80Plus certification and European stamp of approvals.

The company also plans to introduce FirePSU gaming editions 1050W and 1250W soon, and we are quite sure that they will be showing them at Computex.

If Corsair, OCZ, BFG can do it, so can Sapphire and we’ve heard that some other companies including XFX might be getting into this area.
