Powercolor has announced a new Juniper-based graphics card, the PLAY! HD 5770. The card uses a non-reference cooler, courtesy of  Arctic Cooling. The same cooler has been used on both 5750 and the HD 4770 before that.

The new PLAY! HD 5770 features 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface and clocked at 4800MHz, while the Juniper core ticks at 850MHz. It features support for ATI Eyefinity, DirectX 11 and CrossfireX, and features DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs on its single slot backplate.

Although, the card is reference clocked, the Arctic Cooling cooler with a 92mm fan should provide lower fan noise and better cooling ability thanks to the higher airflow and copper base. This should also allow the card to achieve some nice overclocking results.

The card should be available as of November 30th at a suggested retail price of US $159.
