As today is Nvidia GT 240 day and Palit has announced a total of five cards, including the Palit GT240 Sonic with 1GB of GDDR5 memory. The entire lineup includes two card with DDR3 memory and three cards with GDDR5 memory.

The first two will probably work at same reference specs of 550MHz for the core, 900MHz for memory and 1340MHz for shader clock. These The GT 240 is based on GT215 core with 96 stream processors and a 128-bit memory interface.

The GDDR5 versions are pretty much the same, except for the Sonic edition. Although, Palit didn't announce the exact specs for this overclocked card, they did state that the card should be up 10 percent faster than the reference model and around 25 percent faster than Geforce 9600GT.

As every other partner on the market, Palit has decided to use their own PCB design and their own non-reference cooler. All five models feature the same DVI, D-Sub and HDMI outputs and the only difference is in the size of the PCB as GDDR5 models are a tad bit longer.

All models, except for the Sonic edition are currently listed in Europe and you can find them here.
