Goes passive on GT 220 and GT 240

Zotac is obviously quite serious about the part of the market that likes to keep its systems dead silent as the company has decided to make passive versions of the GT 220 and the GT 240 and include them in Zotac's Zone Edition series.

The GT 240 has 1GB of DDR3 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface and 96 stream processors. The card works at 550MHz for the core, 1340MHz for shaders and 1580MHz for that memory. It has a dual slot backplate with DVI, HDMI and D-Sub outputs.

The GT 220 has 1GB of DDR2 memory paired up with the same 128-bit memory interface and 48 stream processors. This one ended up clocked at 625MHz for the core, 1360MHz for shaders and 800MHz for the memory. It features the same design as the GT 240 Zone Edition, as both have a large heatsink that covers the entire PCB.

Both cards are already listed and can be found here for as low as €79,55 for the GT 240 and €59,12 for the GT 220 Zone Edition.
