Asus HD 5770 CuCore

Asus has unveiled its custom version of the HD 5770 card that will be sold under CuCore brand. The card features a black PCB with a rather unique dual slot cooler and should be quite cooler compared to reference cards, but as far as the specs go this will be the same old Juniper-based HD 5770.

The card uses a 5.8oz Copper Rod heatsink which should keep the GPU up to 11 percent cooler when compared to the reference card but we would rather keep the testing and percentage to reviewers. The card has DVI, D-Sub and HDMI outputs and features a dual slot backplate where the other half is left for the exhaust.

As noted, the card features all the same HD 5770 stock specifications so you are looking at 800 stream processors, 128-bit memory interface and 850MHz clock for the GPU and 4800MHz clock for 1GB of GDDR5 memory.

The card should show up in retail pretty soon with a price tag of around €140.
