It isn't that important?

The Fermi launch event, or to be precise, where Nvidia is to launch its GTX 480 and GTX 470 graphics cards, apparently isn't that important to have live stream coverage. Nvidia was apparently sure that "live blogging" by Ashely McBroom was enough.

According to Drew Henry, GM of Nvidia Geforce, Nvidia decided to launch the GF100 at PAX in order "to be where the gamers are". Nobody can argue with the previous statement, but the next one that says that the GTX 480 is "without a doubt, the best GPU we ever built" is something that certainly is questionable, as "best" can be viewed from many different angles.

These should have been streamed live but we guess that it might have an impact on the PAX attendance, but we are also sure that those that wanted to be there, would certainly join in on the fun anyway.
