Club3D has launched a new member of its HD 5800 series graphics cards, the HD 5830 Overclocked Edition. The card features a slight factory overclock and will use a non-reference cooler.

The Club3D HD 5830 Overclocked Edition features 1120 Stream processors, works at 825MHz for the core, and comes with 1024MB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4200MHz and paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. The reference card ticks at 800MHz for the GPU and 4000MHz for the same amount of memory.

The card will be cooled by a dual-slot cooler with a centred placed 92mm fan and four copper heatpipes. The same cooler was used on the HD 5840 Overclocked Edition as well. The cooler should be enough to keep the Cypress LE GPU well cooled at much lower noise when compared to reference cooler.

The new HD 5830 Overclocked Edition should be available pretty soon with a price tag of around €220 to €230.
