At least for now

According to various rumours around the net and our info from a few Nvidia partners, Geforce GTX 460 will most likely be announced during Computex show that will start on 1st of June.

According to the rumour mill the GTX 460 is going to be a cut-down version of the GF100 and will most likely have 384 Stream processors, 48 texture units, 32 ROPs and a 256-bit memory interface. The exact clocks are probably still not finalized as partners have no specific details concerning the card.

Nvidia plans to position this card somewhere between the HD 5830 and the HD 5850. Hopefully, Nvidia will sort out the pricing of its GTX 480 and GTX 470 cards by then, and have a successful launch of the new card.

As you know, nothing is certain when it comes to Nvidia plans, but partners are certainly looking forward to it.
