Computex 08: Diesel power

RV770 doesn't need that much power, as ATI advises its people to use 450W for Radeon HD 4850-based systems. 450W should be enough for the whole system and this sounds quite tiny for current computer setups.

The good thing is that weaker PSUs are usually more quiet and this is something that most people do appreciate.

RV770PRO, aka Radeon HD 4850, is not exactly cold-running, but at the same time, this single-slot cooler does the job; but we believe that it is at the same time really stretched.

450W is still damned good, and of course, this is 450W PSU for the whole computer, not only for the card.
