Nearly 100MHz factory overclock

Following its tradition, it looks like EVGA is preparing a SuperClocked version of the upcoming Nvidia Geforce GTS 450 midrange graphics card. The card has a reference design cooler but can brag with an almost 100MHz factory overclock as it works at 882MHz for the GPU.

We are not sure if EVGA will also releave the SSC (SuperSuperClocked) or even FTW Edition versions of this card, but judging by the SuperClocked version, it looks like the Geforce GTS 450 has a decent overclocking potential. In addition to the 882MHz GPU clock, the rest of the specs include a 1764MHz clock for those 192 CUDA Cores, and 3800MHz for 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 128-bit memory interface.

All these specs are a decent factory overclock considering that the reference card works at 783/1566/3608MHz clocks. The card has showed up online with a price set at US $154, while the official launch should happen on Monday next week. Bear in mind that both the price and the clocks can be considered as a rumour due to the fact that the info came from a retailer/e-tailer rather than from EVGA directly.
