One is water cooled

EVGA has decided to roll out no less than four different GTX 580 cards, including the custom water cooled FTW Edition. The full lineup includes the reference model, factory overclocked SuperClocked Edition, the special Call of Duty: Black Ops edition and the top of the line, FTW Hydro Copper 2 Edition.

As you probably already know, the reference version works at 772MHz for the GPU, 1544MHz for those 512 CUDA cores and comes with 1536MB of memory clocked at 4008MHz and paired up with a 384-bit memory interface. We already talked about the SuperClocked version and although it still uses the same reference cooler, it got overclocked to 797MHz for the GPU, 1594MHz for shaders and 4050MHz for memory.

The GTX 580 FTW Hydro Copper 2 is one of the rare custom cooled cards and features a single-slot, full-cover waterblock that was made by Swiftec. The card ended up overclocked all the way to 850MHz for the GPU, 1700MHz for shaders and 4196MHz for memory.

The reference and SuperClocked card were available at EVGA's website and were one of the rare cards that were sticking to Nvidia's US $499.99 price tag. The US $699.99 FTW Hydro Copper 2 version isn't yet available but we are sure that this one will show up pretty soon.

European EVGA has also been quite busy and had some of these cards on its site. The suggested price for the reference version in Europe is €479.99. The SuperClocked and Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition are going for €495,00 and €499,90 while the FTW Hydro Copper 2 Edition is listed at €659,90. All cards are currently out of stock and can only be pre-ordered.

You can find them here.
