A total of four models

Following the official launch of AMD's Pitcairn based HD 7800 series, Sapphire has launched a total of four HD 7800 series cards. The entire lineup includes two HD 7870 and two HD 7850 cards.

Sapphire's lineup kicks off with the flagship Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition OC card that works at 1050MHz for the GPU and 1250MHz (5GHz effective) for the standard 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. The card still packs 1280 stream processors and uses sapphire's own dual-slot, dual fan cooler with four heatpipes. In addition to the OC Edition, Sapphire also launched a standard GHz Edition that works at 1000MHz for the PGU and 1200MHz (4.8GHz effective) for the same 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface.

The Sapphire HD 7850 lineup kicks off with an overclocked Radeon HD 7850 OC Edition that works at 920MHz for the GPU and packs 2GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface and clocked at 1250MHz (5GHz effective). Although based on the same GPU as the HD 7870, the HD 7850 packs a total of 1024 stream processors. This one is also cooled by a dual-slot, dual fan cooler, but packs two heatpipes. The second Sapphire HD 7850 model uses the same cooler, but features reference 860MHz GPU and 1200MHz (4.8GHz) memory clocks.

The entire lineup is expected to hit retail/e-tail as of March 19th.
