Four days to go, stands at US $1,275.00

It was just a matter of time before someone decided to sell their engineering release HD 7990 that AMD already sent out to selected members of the press for reviews and one of those cards have found its way to eBay, where it is now selling on an auction with the price currently standing at US $1,275.00.

The user selling it claims that the graphics card in question has been tested and according to its specification list, it works at 950MHz for the GPUs and feature 6GB of GDDR5 memory (3GB per GPU) clocked at 6GHz. The auction should be quite real as according to our info, the new HD 7990 Malta should be already happily working in the hands of selected few and the pictures look real.

To be honest, the pictures look quite good, and although it is quite a risky move to seel an engineering release, we now have a set really nice pictures of the upcoming reference Radeon HD 7990 graphics card.

According to our info, the new graphics card reviews should be up on the 24th of April so reviewers will have these seven days ahead of us to bring us those well needed results.

You can check out the auction and more pictures here.
