For up to eight proper 4K displays

Nvidia has unveiled its latest NVS 810 graphics card meant for digital signage market and capable of powering eight 4K 30Hz screens.

With a total of eight mini-DisplayPort outputs, the announced Nvidia NVS 810 can provide output to eight 4K displays at 30Hz. In case you are looking for 60Hz, it is limited to four of those, which is still impressive considering that we are not talking about 4K/UHD 3840x2160 but rather proper 4K, which means 4096x2160 resolution.

Based on two Nvidia GM107 GPUs, the NVS 810 packs 1024 CUDA cores (512 per GPU), 4GB of RAM (2GB per GPU) and quite low 68W TDP. It features a single slot design and you can actually pair up to four NVS 810 graphics card in a single system, providing support for 32 4K displays.

In addition to an impressive number of display outputs, the NVS 810 also supports Nvidia's Mosaic display stitching and synchronization technology allowing multiple NVS 810 to be used for larger display setups as well as the nView and NVWMI, which should simplify image management tasks and manage GPU installations remotely.

According to Nvidia, the NVS 810 should be priced at around US $650 to $750 and be available as of this month through PNY, which is Nvidia's US and European authorized reseller. The rest of global OEM and channel partners should get it in the coming months.
