Nvidia rolls out VR-ready Geforce 361.43 WHQL drivers

With GameWorks VR 1.1 and Oculus SDK support

Nvidia has rolled out its newest Geforce graphics drivers which does not feature much game improvements but rather focuses on virtual reality as it brings GameWorks VR 1.1 and support for the latest Oculus SDK, the Nvidia Geforce 361.43 WHQL.

Although it does not include any game optimizations or bug fixes, the new Geforce 361.43 WHQL-certified drivers are all about virtual reality (VR), or according to Nvidia, are VR Game Ready. According to release notes, the new Geforce 361.43 WHQL drivers feature support for Nvidia GameWorks VR 1.1, support for latest version of the Oculus SDK as well as SLI support for VR application based on OpenGL.

While the Geforce 361.43 WHQL drivers might not include any game-specific optimizations, Nvidia decided to include a couple of new or updated SLI profiles for Bless, DayZ, Dungeon Defenders 2, Elite Dangerous and Hard West games.

The new Geforce 361.43 WHQL drivers are available for Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10 OS in both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors and can be found over at Nvidia's support page.
