Not including the GTX 1070 Founders Edition

MSI has apparently prepared a total of four different custom GTX 1070 graphics cards, including a hybrid cooled GTX 1070 Sea Hawk.

In addition to the reference GTX 1070 Founders Edition, MSI has prepared a total of four different GTX 1070 graphics cards, including the GTX 1070 Gaming X, GTX 1070 Sea Hawk, as well as a GTX 1070 Aero and the GTX 1070 Aero OC.

This lineup is similar to MSI's GTX 1080 lineup and hopefully Lightning version of the GTX 1080 is not far behind.

The list of custom GTX 1070 graphics cards from MSI starts with GTX 1070 Aero and the GTX 1070 Aero OC, should both be based on Nvidia's reference PCB but have a lower price and the same blower style cooler. The GTX 1070 Aero works at 1506MHz base and 1683MHz GPU Boost clocks, which are identical to the GTX 1070 Founders Edition while the GTX 1070 Aero OC hits 1531MHz base and 1721MHz GPU Boost clocks, while 8GB of GDDR5 memory remained at 8000MHz on both versions.

In addition to a lower cost GTX 1070 Aero series, MSI also prepared the GTX 1070 Gaming X and the GTX 1070 Sea Hawk. Both of these cards will have the same GPU clocks of 1607MHz base and 1797MHz Boost while 8GB of GDDR5 memory will end up clocked at 8100MHz.

According to the specifications that can be found on MSI's site, only the GTX 1070 Gaming X will have a custom PCB and draw power from 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe power connectors, while all rest will stick to a single 8-pin PCIe connector. The GTX 1070 Aero and the GTX 1070 Sea Hawk will have white RGB LEDs while the Gaming X comes with RGB LED lighting.

Unfortunately, MSI was not kind enough to provide any prices or the precise availability date, but we suspect that these will be available soon.
