by on10 January 2017

First one in the new year

AMD has released its first Radeon Software Crimson Edition ReLive 16.12.2 WHQL drivers update that will bring a couple of bug fixes that were already available with the 16.12.2 beta drivers released back in December 2016.

The release notes for the Radeon Software Crimson Edition ReLive 16.12.2 WHQL drivers are quite extensive and fix some problems seen with the first ReLive 16.12.1 drivers, including failed installation of some systems, difficulties with Radeon Settings, hurdles to jump with AMD FreeSync, ReLive recording bugs, as well as bugs in games like Battlefield 1 and DOTA 2.

According to the same release notes, there are still a couple of big known problems which still have not been fixed with both some games and the ReLive component but we are sure that the next update will come soon.

As always, you can download the new Radeon Software Crimson Edition ReLive 16.12.2 WHQL drivers over at AMD's support page.
