AMD releases Radeon Software ReLive 17.2.1 beta driver

Ready for Sniper Elite 4 and For Honor

AMD has released its newest Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.2.1 beta driver which brings performance optimizations and support for Sniper Elite 4 and For Honor as well as a couple of fixes and performance and stability improvements.

According to the provided release notes, the new Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.2.1 beta driver includes support for Sniper Elite 4 game with up to five percent improvements measured on Radeon RX 480 as well as support for For Honor game with 4 percent improvements compared to earlier available Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.1.2 driver. It also includes multi-GPU profiles for Sniper Elite 4 and For Honor games.

As noted, the new driver also fixes issues seen in For Honor game with multi-GPU configurations, fixes DXVA H.264-encoded video corruption on some Radeon GCN products, fixes various issues with AMD FreeSync, Radeon Chill and Radeon ReLive captured videos, memory clock issue on Radeon R9 380 products and HD 7900 series corruption issues in Civilization VI game when shadows are disabled.

As always, the new Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition 17.1.2 is also available for Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and support all Radeon graphics cards since Radeon HD 7700/HD 7900 days.
