Asus RX 580 Strix TOP smiles for camera

by on14 April 2017

Larger cooler and possible higher clocks

Asus' upcoming Radeon RX 580 Strix TOP has been spotted online and it appears that the company has decided to update the design for AMD's upcoming refresh.

Featuring a thicker 2.5-slot cooler, the Asus' RX 580 Strix TOP will be most likely the highest factory-overclocked graphics card in Asus' RX 580 lineup.

While we still do not have precise clock details and can only see the huge triple-fan cooler, courtesy of Videocardz.com, we are quite sure that it will come with a higher factory-overclock compared to the earlier available RX 480 Strix OC edition which was pushed to 1330MHz GPU Boost clock in OC Mode.

As you can see from the box shot, this one will also pack 8GB of GDDR5 memory and come with Asus' AURA LED lighting.

In case you missed it, AMD is expected to launch its Radeon RX 500 series refresh on April 18th.
