Product line-up

We
learned that R600 was delayed all the way to early May. The reason we hear is that DAAMIT decided to a full DirectX 10 product line-up launch. We don't buy this as you don't cancel a 200 people event at the last minute. At least the full scale R6xx generation launch is a good cover up story.

We found out that the chip is fine but we are still not certain about the performance of the card. All the plans have been pushed back to four to six weeks. ATI will even revise the clocks of the final product. Everything is on ice now, and Nvidia is happily laughing.

G80 is simply much better than DAAMIT expected and this is a big problem for new AMD. µ
