Adjusting the high end prices

Nvidia had a record quarter, in the first fiscal quarter of 2007, its revenues were $844.3 million, compared to the previous year that's 162.5 million more.

But Nvidia is a ruthless money machine and it made its partners life miserable. Nvidia is probably even more arrogant than Intel, and it caused a lot of money problems for its add in boards partners.

Basically Nvidia would drop the price without much warning and that would hurt any AIB who had their cards in stock. Nvidia has a price protection policy that was never enough to cover these damages.

So Nvidia's revenue went up, but the partners weren't as lucky, a lot of them lost money in the same quarter.

Nvidia dropped the prices a few times, especially in the high end, and that caused up to 5 to 10 percent in income loss for AIB's.

We don’t need to tell you how much AIB's love Nvidia now.
