Multiple display with your notebook

I-O Data has a new USB 2.0 graphics adapter that works with Windows XP and 2000. It allows for a second display to be used with a notebook or a desktop machine and it supports resolutions of up to 1,400 x 1,050 for 4:3 displays and 1,400 x 900 for 16:10 displays.

It measures 54×23×82mm (WxDxL) and weighs a mere 50g. It's powered by the USB port, so there's no need for any external power adaptors.

The USB-RGB as it's called also supports hardware DVD acceleration and display rotation. If you have an HDTV with D-SUB input it will also output a signal to it at 1366x768.

It should retail for about €68, but currently it's only available in Japan. The picture below shows what it looks like.
