Half of MSI gaming notebooks still with AMD

Radeon HD 2600 and Turions / Athlons


MSI is one of the first notebook vendors to have the HDMI on its notebooks and it really wants to push the gaming notebooks and it still offer 50 percent of AMD / ATI gaming notebooks .

The top one is called GX710 Extreme and is comes with a nice backpack, headset and a mouse, 17 inch 1920x1200 display and Turion X2 TL64 that works at 2 GHz. The notebook comes with Mobility Radeon HD 2600 with 1024MB while 768 MB of that memory are from the system (hypermemory marketing). If you want to pay up you will even get HD DVD in this machine and wireless, Bluetooth and 250 GB HDD is what you get by default. It has Bluetooth, Wlan and HDMI with HDCP. This one starts from €1500.

The second in line is GX710 Performance and just as any other MSI gaming notebook it comes with a backpack and a mouse. This one has Athlon X2 TK53 mobile processor and Mobility Radeon HD 2600 graphic card and 160GB HDD.  The price of this machine starts at €1.190 and it comes with WSXGA+ 17 inch display and 1680x1050 display. You can buy this one for €1200+ depending on the configuration.

The third machine is called GX610 Extreme and it comes with 15.4 display with 1680x1050 display. Turion 64 X2 TL64 at 2.2 GHz and yet again Mobility Radeon HD 2600 graphic card. It comes with 15.4 inch 1680x1050 display, 250 GB hard drive, has HDMI (each of the machines have it) and a crystal clear surround and Wlan and Bluetooth. It starts at €1600.

The last but not the least is GX100 Performance powered with Athlon X2 TK53 dual core at 1.7 GHz and one more time Mobility Radeon HD 2600 mobile core and 15.4 display with 1680x1050 and 160MB with Wlan and HDMI with HDCP.  This one starts ate acceptable €1050.
