HP's Voodoo PC announces Santa Rosa notebook

HP's gaming PC brand, the Voodoo PC, has announced the new notebook that will feature the use of Intel's Santa Rosa platform.

We are talking about 15.4 inch Centrino Duo system called Envy M:152. The new Envy supports the entire Core 2 mobile line-up of processors. The top of the offer has 2.6GHz Core 2 Extreme. Since it is the based on the Santa Rosa platform, the new Envy M:152 features the 802.11n Wi-Fi inside. The new notebook features a 512MB Geforce 8600M GT which will be enough for most games without making the notebook too hot and noisy.

Voodoo PC claims that the new Envy M:152 is quieter then most Envy systems and the mentioned 15.4 inch display runs at 1,680 x 1,050 resolution. Notebook comes with a 2-megapixel camera integrated above the display. As for the security the new Envy features a fingerprint reader.
