G92 based with 256 bit memory

We have confirmed that Nvidia plans to re-launch Geforce 8800GTS cards based on the D8P/G92 chip. This means that the new (old) 8800GTS card will have 256 bit memory interface, but still it should end up faster than its predecessor.

The key is the faster Shader clock at a fast clock, but we still do not know when will this card be launched.

A few people are discussing on the Internet that Nvidia plans to launch this new product in two weeks; however, this doesn’t make much sense to us, as the 8800GT has been selling so well that it has been in short supply from day one.
