At 17:00 Central European time (8 A.M. in California, 11 A.M. in New York or Toronto), ATI will lift the ban on its FireGL V8650 2GB professional card.
The driver and the new card were supposed to show up in November, if not even earlier, but they were hit by the usual delays.
We also heard that the card is very fast, but we seriously doubt that there will be many of them available, as ATI doesn’t even want to spare the samples.
There will be some reviews at this time and we will probably update the article at that time.
Update: 3Dprofessor has a review up, the card is obscenely fast and you can check it out here.
