We’ve seen that XFX will not remain alone in 8800 GT 256MB market. Leadtek and Asus are two companies who already have products available based on this 256MB design. Gigabyte 8800GT 256MB is listed but still not available.

Both Asus and Leadtek are based on the reference design with 600MHz core speed, 1800MHz memory but the Leadtek’s card is selling for €189, while Asus sells for €199.

It is interesting to underline that both cards are available at press time and they are a good alternative to 8800GT 512MB, but naturally the slower option.
