GPU clocked at 800MHz

Yesterday we wrote about Sapphire's HD 3650 OC edition card that should ship soon. We even posted some pictures of it and promised that we will try to get some more info on this card, and finally we something to report about. The OC edition will have 800MHz GPU clock.

This card will have the same single-slot cooling solution like the entire Sapphire HD 3650 series, but it will come with factory overclocked settings. The OC edition of HD 3650 works at 800MHz for the core and it will come with 512MB of GDDR3 memory that works at 900MHz (1800MHz effective). Just for comparison, the reference HD 3650 is clocked at 725MHz for the GPU.

This card might hit the sweet spot if its price ends up to be as good as these specs. It's nice to see that Sapphire has decided to launch an OC edition instead of flooding the market with something like an HD 3650 with 1GB of cheaper DDR2 memory.
