Despite the NDA

Foxconn has decided to announce its 9600GT card, despite the fact that the NDA is still up until 14:00 GMT. Since Foxconn's version of this card is "mostly" a reference-based one we think that Nvidia won't mind, especially if you know that Biostar and Gigabyte have also launched their product pages of this card.

Unlike Biostar and Gigabyte, Foxconn has also posted a picture of their card. Nothing new to see here, since there have been many pictures of the reference 9600GT card. The only difference is Foxconn's 9600GT sticker.

As for the specs, according to the product page Foxconn's 9600GT will work at 655MHz for the GPU and it will feature 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 910MHz (1820MHz effective). We don't know if Foxconn has decided to go for a factory overclock of 5MHz for the GPU and 10MHz (20MHz effective) for memory, but since some partners will show 700MHz overclock for the GPU this just sounds like a good old reference card.

As you know, this card supports PCIe x16 2.0, DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0. As today is the launch day, we will see a lot of these cards from various partners, but most of them will come later, after 14:00h GMT, as Nvidia tends to be sensitive when an NDA is not yet lifted.
