Three versions coming up

MSI has prepared three versions of Nvidia's 9600GT card, two with 512MB of memory and one with 1GB of memory. All three cards will proudly sport the Overclocked version sticker, as neither one of these cards will use the reference design cooling.

The first two cards are basically the same, and will feature MSI's unique Seaweed-blade cooler, which should provide less noise, higher air-pressure and the most powerful air-flow; thus keeping the temperatures as low as possible. The only difference between these two cards is the amount of memory, since one has 512MB and the other will feature 1GB, both clocked at 950MHz (1900MHz effective). The GPU of these two cards will be overclocked to 700MHz, which is 50MHz over the reference 650MHz clock. Shaders will work at 1750MHz.

The third version of 9600GT will come as a part of MSI's Zilent series, as it will feature Zalman's VF1050 cooler. This card will also have factory overclocked settings and it will work at 700/1750/1900MHz for core, Shaders and memory. This one will come with 1GB of GDDR3 memory. The entire lineup features a 256-bit memory interface, support for PCI-Express 2.0, DirectX 10 and Nvidia PureVideo HD. Just for comparison, the reference 9600GT works at 650MHz for the core, 1625MHz for Shaders and 900MHz (1800MHz effective) for the memory.
