Both 3DMark06 and Vantage

It186.com
managed to get its hands on ATI's RV770PRO, also known as the HD 4850, and managed to do some 3DMark testing. To be precise, It186.com has run 3DMark06 with and without AA and AF. The it186 crew also used 3DMark Vantage in its performance and extreme preset modes.

Bear in mind that these tests are done on the test driver version so that the performance might be a bit better when this card hits the store shelves. The card's core works at 625MHz and it comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 993MHz (1,986MHz effective). The tests were conducted on Windows Vista with Intel's Q6600 overclocked to 3GHz and 3,072MB of memory.

The card scores 7935 marks in 3DMark06 at 2560 x 1600 resolution without AA and AF. The score drops to 5001 marks at the same resolution with 8xAA and 16xAF enabled. As for Vantage, the card scores X2789 at the extreme preset (1920 x 1200 4xAA 16xAF) and P6695 at performance preset (1280x1024 0xAA 0xAF).

The results are looking great for the red team, especially if you count in the estimated price of this card. You can find more here, but you might want to use Google translation.
