Three is a tight fit

Guys from Pcinlife.com managed to get their hands on some pictures of Nvidia's upcoming GTX 280 card in both SLI and 3-way SLI.

The plain SLI sounds great, but you might want to consider getting yourself a small power plant just in case you want to add more hardware to that system. On the other hand, the 3-way SLI is looking just plain silly. A mini-nuclear power plant might do the trick and as you can see from the picture, it is a tight fit.

We know that Nvidia's GTX 280 tends to get pretty hot, so that kind of setup can be used for heating the room during the winter, but it would be less expensive to find some other way. Anyway, 3-way SLI is overkill, but it does look impressive.

You can find the bigger pictures here.
