Our colleagues from VR-Zone had some GTX 280 laying around, so they decided to try some Tri-SLI action.

With Intel's QX9650 overclocked to 4GHz the 3-Way SLI score is raised from P17759 to P21350. Of course, we are talking about 3DMark Vantage and its performance preset. Even though the 3-Way SLI, pictured here, might sound like overkill, it is still nice to see those results.

It is still early to take these results seriously, as we don't know which driver VR-Zone used, and why they didn't test 3DMark's extreme preset, as well. Anyway, the 17th is getting closer and closer and we will surely see more of these tests and results.
