Malaga

AMD has organized a massive partner conference in Malaga, airport code AGP, and we’ve heard that the green company has invited some 450 partners around EMEA region.

AMD wants to show its partners some new graphic achievements, including the RV770-based card, and probably some healthy looking 45nm samples.

It is a bizarre coincidence that Malaga has an AGP airport code, but we simply couldn’t resist not to mention it. At the same time this event somehow reminds us of Nvision after NV30, as we have a feeling that AMD’s partners and customers needs some assurance that things will get better.

Hector and Dirk didn't make it to Malaga, but some of the Vice Presidents are in this lovely Spanish place.

Graphic parts are not a problem, as Rx7x0 generation looks fit; but at the same time AMD needs to make a huge steps for fix its biggest cash cow, the CPU business.
