Higher clock

Nvidia will soon launch a new 9800 GTX+ card, and the only difference compared to the existing one seems to be the clock. The current 9800 GTX works at 675MHz or a bit faster with overclocking partners, while the new GTX+ should work at over700MHz, and the Shaders will be also clocked higher than current 1688MHz.

This launch will be combined with a new driver that claims better performance and at the same time, we believe that Nvidia will fix the price to give Radeon HD 4870 a hell of a ride. According to our current findings 4870 ends up faster than 9800GTX and even 4850 gives it a hard time.

Geforce 9800 GTX+ is supposed to change these odds in Nvidia’s favor and the card should be available by mid-July.
