Better than last week

After the first Radeon HD 4870 reviews last week, a lot of users want to buy Radeon HD 4870 cards simply because it should end up faster than many Geforce GTX 260 cards and costs less money.

Radeon HD 4870 is available today in both the U.S. and Euroland and our U.S. readers have to pay $309 on average, while the cheapest available Radeon HD 4870 in European etail sells for €223.

The supply of Radeon HD 4870 is not that great; but it looks that if you want one you can now get one, and at the same time we believe that despite the GDDR5 shortage, ATI might underestimated the possible demand for this card.

We are hearing that Radeon HD 4870 are selling like hot cakes while Geforce GTX 260 doesn’t sell that well. One thing is certain, the cool graphics cards are cheaper than ever. Who said that the competition is a bad thing?
