During an AMA session, AMD's Global Marketing Manager for Desktop Processors, Don Woligrosky, answered plenty of questions and revealed a bit more information about the upcoming Radeon RX Vega graphics card.
AMD leaked on its Polish Facebook page that it is releasing Vega this quarter.
In a move which will get the Nvidia fanboys jolly cross, AMD has said that its new Vega line-up will actually compete with their favourite chip maker in the notebook market.
A slight delay
According to reports, the upcoming AMD Radeon RX 500 series, which should be based on Polaris GPUs, could be slightly delayed, with the new launch date set for April 18th.

An alleged SiSoft benchmark result leak that has been spotted recently has revealed a bit more information on what appears to be at least one version of the upcoming AMD Vega GPU.
But will it be too late?
Rumours are starting to come in that Nvidia’s coming Volta will give AMD's Radeon RX Vega a good kicking thanks to Taiwan Semiconductor’s 12 nm fabrication process over Vega's 14 nm.
RX Vega won't be here before late May
According to the newest report, AMD's upcoming RX 500 series will be completely made of RX 400 series rebrands, based on Polaris 10 and Polaris 11, as well as possible new Polaris 12 GPU, while Radeon RX Vega won't launch before late May.
Will use Vega GPU in future
While it only revealed a retail name for its upcoming Vega-based graphics cards, AMD also announced a key partnership with LiquidSky, a cloud-based game-streaming service provider that will use that same Vega GPU for game streaming.
Vega-based Radeon lineup gets a name
During its GDC 2017 "Capsaicin and Cream" event that was live earlier today, AMD revealed a few more details regarding its upcoming Vega GPU as well as announcing the name of its next-gen graphics card lineup, simply called the Radeon RX Vega.
