Review roundup: Matches GTX 1080/1070 but with a high TDP
AMD has finally launched its first consumer-oriented graphics cards based on the new Vega GPU, the Radeon RX Vega 64 and the Radeon RX Vega 56. With reviews finally going live, it appears that AMD has managed to match GTX 1080/1070 performance in some scenarios but at a much lower performance per Watt.

According to our sources, the performances of AMD's upcoming RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56 graphics cards are close to Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070.

EK Water Blocks has announced its newest full-cover single-slot EK-FC Radeon Vega water block which should support both the recently launch Radeon Vega Frontier Edition as well as the upcoming Radeon RX Vega 64 and RX Vega 56 graphics cards.

It appears that AMD has previously delayed the launch of its Vega GPU in order to have good volumes at launch.
We find AMD's lack of faith in Radeon Pro SSG disturbing

Today at Siggraph on the show floor we were told - although not able to physically see the card - that the post production demo that was being shown was utilizing the upcoming Radeon Pro SSG.

While AMD and most of its AIB partners have announced the standard Radeon RX Vega 64 graphics cards, which should hopefully become available on August 14th, it appears that the US $399 priced Radeon RX Vega 56 is coming in September.
Vega GPU for mITX builds
In addition to a fleet of RX Vega graphics cards and the Ryzen Threadripper CPUs, AMD has also briefly unveiled the mini-ITX RX Vega Nano graphics card at its Capsaicin event at the Siggraph 2017 show.
