Still costs a bomb

Apple has
been releasing more information about what its iPhone can do as its launch date gets closer.

The latest thing is that it will be able to play 10,000 YouTube videos which will be re-recorded into the proprietary H.264 format used by the iPhone.
Chief Executive Steve Jobs said in the statement the iPhone will be the best "YouTube mobile experience" so far.

This will be somewhat of a feat because the iPhone is using a slow mobile data network provided by AT&T. Allowing streaming video is likely to slow it down.

The iPhone is heading to be the most over-hyped gadget in history. Not since the PS3 has a company tried to enter a highly competitive market with an over-priced product just using marketing.
