For North American markets

Nokia recently officially announced two new N series models. N85 and N79 the models in question were rumored about for a long time now, and they’re both aimed at North American markets.

Both models run on third edition Symbian platform S60, come with GPS, FM radio receiver as well as FM transmitter, stereo Bluetooth, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack and TV out. They both come equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and dual LED flash.

N85 is a dual slider and looks much like N81. It has a 2,.6-inch OLED screen and special keys for Nokia N-Gage games. It comes with an 8GB microSD card, but it supports cards of up to 16GB. IT will be priced between US$550 and $600.

N79 is a bar-style phone and N78-successor. An interesting thing about this phone is that it comes with X-press on Smart Cover cases in 5 colors. The content on this phone’s screen will automatically adjust and rotate relative to the position of the phone. This model comes with only 4GB microSD card and will be priced between US$450 and $500.

The phones should hit the U.S. market sometime in Q4.
