The new HTC Touch HD should launch in November and it will be selling for 3500 dirham in the United Arab Emirates, the home of AMD's investors and Dubai. The chap at the booth told us that they expect a price around $1,000.

This is very similar to the price of Diamond Touch Pro and sounds like a quite lot of money for a mobile phone, as even the iPhone 3G comes cheaper than that, even in Dubai free sales, unlocked. The iPhone was selling for close to $800 for 8GB while 16GB was over $1,000.

HTC is the fastest Windows mobile phone that we’ve ever came across, but it might just be the most expensive at the same time. With the 3.8 inch display we are also talking about one of the biggest phones, but hey, it has an accelerometer.
