Tom Tom has launched a navigation app for the iPhone, and it is offering some rather clever features.

It incorporates Tom Tom's IQ Routes technology which calculates routes using the experience of millions of Tom Tom users. So you're sure to pass some nice diners, donut shops and strip joints. It also supports automatic re-routing and has a vast database of points of interest, some of which we already mentioned.

It work in landscape or portrait, and has day and night colour settings. Tom Tom also integrates multitouch support, which is a rather nice gesture. Tom Tom says it will develop more versions compatible with iPod Touch and iPhone products soon.

In case you're interested, be sure you have OS 3.0 installed, and that you have $100 in your account.
