Computex 08: Or is it a PMP?

Albatron was busy showing off just about everything but motherboards and graphics cards this year, although those products were, of course, on display, as well. One rather interesting little product we spotted was a new MID, or possibly PMP, which seemed to go under the name of Rocker.

We didn't get all too much in-depth information about it, apart from the specifications, although these might change before these unit ship. The device on show was using a 400MHz ARM 9 processor, but we were told that they're going to look into using the Nvidia Tegra chip instead, if it's possible.

Other specifications include 128MB of RAM, 128MB or ROM, SD card slot for memory expansion, a 7-inch widescreen touch display with a native resolution of 800x480, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, a rotateable camera of unknow specification and up to 6h battery life.

It will also come with the dock you can see below it, and this has a USB port into which a USB TV-tuner can be fitted, and it also houses a set of small stereo speakers. The Rocker weighs 343g and measures 188x113x13mm (WxHxD).

We have no idea when it will be available, but we'd expect it to be sold under a different brand than Albatron when it hits retail.
