Pegatron claims to have CDMA iPhone 4 contract

Pegatron Technology has won the contract to make Apple's iPhone 4.

According to Digitimes it will begin volume production of a CDMA-version iPhone 4 in November with total shipments likely to reach 3-4 million in just three months. It adds that it will be flogging a total of 10 million by mid-2011.

Pegatron has been doing well this year. It also had orders from Asustek Computer, Acer, Toshiba and Sony as well as tablet PC orders from HTC.
