To early 2011

According to a report over at PCWorld, Lenovo's IdeaPad U1 Hybrid netbook will be delayed to early 2011 and it will first be launched in China.

The report of the delay is backed up by comment to The Wall Street Journal, made by Lenovo's Chief Marketing Officer David Roman, who said that Ideapad U1 didn't meet company's standards. Roman also added that it might even end up on a redesign desk before launch.

In case you missed this one, we are talking about "industry's frist hybrid PC" that is actually a netbook with detachable screen which makes it a combination between a standard netbook and tablet. It features a 11.6-inch touch-screen and runs on Windows 7 in the netbook mode and Linux as tablet. The rumoured retail price was US $999 but considering that it got delayed we'll keep our fingers crossed for the price redesign as well.
