Apple seems to be gearing up to shift production to the new iPhone.

According to analyst Shaw Wu, iPhone production in the last quarter could have been reduced by as much as 20 to 25 percent over the previous quarter. Wu believes the next Jesus phone will launch in September or October, but Apple is apparently being conservative and giving suppliers a two-quarter break ahead of the introduction.

There are relatively few iPhone leaks at the moment, and they can hardly be described as reliable, but most punters believe Apple will increase the screen size to about 4 inches and introduce a new processor, since the tablet-centric A5X might not be the best choice around.
